Raising A Stink

Pennie's Helpful Household Hint: To keep winter homes fresh, always do your own dishes!

Bridgette, our almost 13 year old has the job of doing the dishes each evening. She earns a monthly allowance that way - doing dishes and cleaning the kitchen. Slave labor.

Well, this morning, we thought we had a propane gas leak. (After blaming Aaron and he denied it, it was a toss up between propane and maybe our septic field freezing up. This is what happens when Daddy's at work and the kids and Mom are around to diagnose such problems.) The house is still a little ripe, even after a good dousing of Febreze and a good washing.

It seems the little bit of leftover (thick) pea soup from dinner last night was put into the kitchen trash...which wasn't taken out to the curb until this morning. Can you say P.U.?

That is too funny!!! Our trash has to be taken out every day or else that happens to us :o)

Thank you for your support in regards to Tyrique. You are a wonderful person and I am so grateful to have met you (can we say that being that we have never met :o). Maybe one day we will meet :o)

Haha your diagnosis sounds like mine some days...drives my husband crazy, he says I "overreact" and "exaggerate" whatever. :) Hope the house smells back to normal tomorrow!
