Finally Done With This Week's Cleaning!

I have been a busy little girl today. I have finished up my weekly Zone Cleaning Challenge posed by Cleaning Mama - we're half through the month's challenges! You can go to her blog to join in...she'll enter you into her drawing, AND you can get four cleaning projects done for the last two weeks of this month! Only 15 minutes, for four days each week (I admit, my nightstand and dresser took a little longer, because I delved INSIDE them...).
I posted before and after pics of my dresser earlier in the week. Here are the rest of my "Before" and "After" pics.

NIGHTSTAND BEFORE:
AND AFTER:
Inside was a coffee can of change - I filled up a gallon ice cream bucket with it! I plan on taking it to the bank next week...I wonder how much it will add up to? I'm going to start saving for a nice camera...like Maura's (from Fostering Awareness)!

CLOSET SHELF BEFORE:

CLOSET SHELF AFTER:
I had a bunch of t-shirts from the kids as they were growing up, that I plan on cutting into strips to make a quilt for each. They treasure those t-shirts - from places we visited, theatrical productions they were in, teams they were on, Bridgette had a few from classes she was in in Elementary school and she had them autographed by a fellow student who died of a brain tumor a few years ago. All sentimental. I packed the t-shirts in rubbermaid tubs and they will go on our storage shelves in the basement storage room until I get to them. I hope to do that soon.

AND THE BIG MESS...
THE CLOSET FLOOR BEFORE...

AND AFTER
I ended up packing all my summer shoes in a Rubbermaid tub, also and putting it on a storage shelf in the basement storage room.

Ahhh...I feel so much better now! Now, I'm going to get into party planning mode - I need to be at Melissa's in 2 HOURS for our Julie and Julia party...I'm sure I'll have pictures for you...provided I remember my camera! (For some reason, with this group of friends, I seem to forget my camera a LOT!) I can't wait!!!!! I can now go...guilt free! Aaron is going to a sleep-over birthday party, and Mike is taking Bridgette on a "date night" - dinner and a movie. :) So, no dinner making for me - except at Melissa's...have a great Friday night!
