Keely at MannLand5 has rounded up 8 new questions for our favorite Sunday game, "Getting To Know You." Head on over to her blog to join in the blog hop!
1. Do you iron your sheets?
I iron many things - say, my husband's undershirts - that my girlfriends unmercifully tease me about, but I must say that I DO NOT iron my sheets.
2. Your dream car is....?
I have a Chevy Trailblazer, and I really like it. 4 wheel drive is an important feature when you live on the border of Wisconsin and Minnesota. We have LONG and fierce winters.
3. Do you have an innie or an outie belly button?
Innie
4. What meal do you look forward to the most..breakfast, lunch, or dinner?
How about brunch? I don't like to eat first thing in the morning, but if I wait until later, I can really look forward to a meal then! And, breakfast foods are the best. My friends and family tease me, because if we go to a restaurant that serves breakfast all day I will generally order an omelet. Always. No matter where we go. :) Pretty predictable, but I LOVE my omelets. With wheat toast and orange marmalade. And good coffee, maybe some garden hashbrowns....mmmmm
5. Favorite mascara?
Okay, I have dark circles under my eyes ALL THE TIME. Hereditary, I guess. Very attractive, let me tell you - I've had them all my life. Make-up slips off my eyes all over my face. So, waterproof is a must. And, non-smear. I haven't found the PERFECT one yet...any suggestions? I've tried many of them - the cheaper Maybelline, L'Oreal...but, I'd love your help. I'm due for a new tube - was just thinking that THIS MORNING! HELP!
6. What would you say your decorating style is..traditional, modern, eclectic, country, french country, shabby chic, etc..?
Probably traditional. I love rich tones and textures like dark chocolate leather sofas and big leather chairs and ottomans, leather maps and globes, oak entertainment centers - that's my decorating type. With splashes of red and other bright colors thrown in. And copper. Just to spice things up.
7. Have you ever been skinny dipping?
Once, when I was very young, in a lake. Nowadays, I wouldn't subject poor innocent little fish to the kind of trauma that seeing my naked body might cause. It might scare them and I may be single-handedly responsible for doing some kind of permanent damage to the fish population in that portion of the state. I couldn't handle that kind of guilt.
8. I hate the smell of...?
Dog poop is pretty awful, and ranks up there on my list of stinkiest things in the world. Ever get that on your shoe? Ugh! That and wet dog...especially if it is a BIG wet dog. The bigger the dog, the bigger the smell.
Well - that was fun! I hope you join in the game - I'd love to hear your answers...and don't forget to leave me a comment about your favorite waterproof mascara if you have one, because I really need a new tube - honestly!

I have those same dark cirlcles, and some lines that have come out of nowhere!
I said country and shabby chic on mine, but I'm not really sure.
Hahahaha Traumatized fish. Love it!
Yeah, I have the dark circles too, thanks to heredity. Have you tried any of the yellow sticks of concealer. Mahhhvelous stuff.
Great answers!
I get dark (well, somewhat dark) circles under my eyes, too. I just figured it was due to the fact that I have 3 children who never let me sleep in. ;)
I have no mascara advice..I wish I could help a sista out..I don't use waterproof though and when I do it's very rarely..
Anywho..love the skinny dipping answer.
I too am in the dark circles club..
I need that yellow concealer Crayon Wrangler was talking about..
I got the circles, thanks mom!! I don't do much of the concealer thing these days but I hear yellow or green work (depending on the darkness of your circles)
Thanks for visiting!!
Love the answers, those were great. Hope you had a great weekend!
Oh my gosh, I am laughing so hard about traumatizing the fish!
HAHA. Traumatized fish. You're too much.
I just bought KILLER new mascara. Actually 2 new tubes and I love both of them. The one isn't waterproof but I seriously think it is because scrubbing with soap doesn't get it off.
I'll get the info for you. I think they are both Loreal brand....AND on clearance at Walgreens. One is a 2 step that normally sells for around 15.00.
SCORE.
