Happy Day!

Thanks for the prayers - my back is getting better! I've taken myself off all meds...I hate that stuff...I have THINGS to do! (However, I've pawned the vacuuming and scrubbing to Bridgette.) I can't afford a foggy brain.

I thought I was all done with Christmas shopping, but I think I should probably get Mike something. We say "no gifts" every year, and then every year I feel like an idiot when he gets me something...and he's a good gift giver! I see there are a few packages under the tree for me. So what do you get for the man who has everything??? (He already has the best thing ever...that would be ME!) :) But, really - he wants something, he gets it. I saw he needed a travel kit (he travels a lot). I bought one and wrapped it. He was packing the other night for an overnight meeting, and guess what he was carrying? A new travel kit! I asked him why he bought something before Christmas!!? He said, "Pennie, a guy can never have enough travel kits." He said it with a smirk, too. Yeah, whatever.

I also have to buy Aaron some dress shirts. The boy has outgrown every stitch of clothing he owns. I've replaced most of his day-to-day things, but he needs church shirts. I'm sick of seeing him wear the same polo shirt every week! (And it's WINTER...who's kid is this anyhow???)

So, I'm off to shop, shop, shop. Not too much to get. It shouldn't be too bad. Wish me luck! It's a jungle out there! (And I thought I was done!)

This is my baby...she looks tired this morning, doesn't she?

This is the Christmas card I made at Shutterfly. Super fast. Super cheap! *love it*
Happy Christmas preparation day for all of the moms out there who are doing a little bit today - and for those of you who are done...my hat's off to you! Way to go! Have a great day!

Have fun today and good luck shopping in the crazyness!!! My kids are always growing out of their clothes too, I feel like I am always buying them new clothes and they are always too small on them when they need them.

Have fun! I'm taking my entire troop out (yep, me and all four kids) in a couple of hours to do some shopping. Entirely because we're already sick of being at home! :) Oh boyyyy ...!

Hoping your shopping trip is beautifully relaxing!
