Thanks!

Yesterday I was BURNED OUT! I think I had another ovarian cyst burst during the night Monday night, and I was quite sore. I have this weird high pain tolerance thing - long story - but I don't feel things like I should. This summer I had a huge cyst burst and I ended up with internal bleeding - I looked 6 months pregnant and had several months recovery.
This was not like that.
But I think it was a smaller version of it. It felt similar. And it wiped me out!
So, thanks for letting me whine on my blog, and for encouraging me to put my feet up - because after reading your comments I did! I feel a little better today, but I think this week I'm taking it easy. (Not an easy thing to do - Bridgette has her thirteenth birthday party sleepover with her "gang" of girlie friends - there's four of them including her - over on Friday!)
Anyhow, Bridgette and I finished watching a wonderful chick flick on DVD. Have you seen it? The Time Traveler's Wife.
I heard not-so-good reviews about it, so I was skeptical, but it was really good! If you're looking for an engaging love story, grab a girlfriend (or a teenage daughter) and some popcorn and hunker down for a good one! I hadn't read the book - and maybe that's where people were disappointed? But, I just loved the movie! I kind of wished I had saved it for her birthday party. Last time I had her girlie friends over for a sleep over, we all watched "My Sister's Keeper" and cried. I love girls this age - they're game for a good chick flick! Too bad Nicholas Spark's "The Last Song" isn't in theaters until March 31st...it looks like it would appeal to 13 year old girls...it stars Miley Cyrus! Bridgette wouldn't hold off her party until then, though. Sigh. Would have been the perfect birthday party activity.
Well, I'm off to SAMmy's this morning. Maybe we'll cyber-talk later!

Wow, internal bleeding from a cyst and you didn't feel it!! I have a history of cysts and I can tell you this, the worst part of the cyst is when they burst!!! Goodness Pennie, please be careful.

I want to see The Time Travelers Wife, it sounds so good. I never listen to the reviews, who cares what someone else says....that someone else isn't me :o) I am going to take your word for it though :o)

I hope you feel better today, make sure you take it easy! Have a great Wednesday!
