It's that time again - Sunday's game "Getting To Know You!" Go on over to MannLand5 and Keely will show you how to get in on the action! It's a hoot...especially today's, because she had her friend Ian - a man (gasp!) feed her the the questions for us to answer - so all of these questions are from the brain of the male species. Here goes...1 - Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging, because I am a Word Nerd, and Facebook and Twitter don't allow wordy girls like me near enough space to blabber on about all my meaningless chatter!
2 - Who's the one blog friend that you would want to meet most in "real life"?
C'mon, now! Don't we ALL want to meet everyone on our bloggy list? (Unless there's a creepy stalker out there...I don't want to meet YOU!) But, seriously - that would be so fun...to have a bloggy social meeting.
I am going to meet two of my bloggy friends in April - Kami of My Beautiful Day and Helga of My World. Lucky me! I'm really excited about that. Hopefully this just continues. I love making connections.
3 - Why are you always concerned with losing that "extra 10 pounds" when chances are your husband/boyfriend/friends tell you that you look just fine the way you are?
The older I get, the less concerned I am. Sorry.
Not really sorry, either.
4 - What's the one thing you wish guys could understand about you?
GuyS - as in plural??? I don't care if guyS understand me at all. My guy is the only one who needs to understand me, and we've got that pretty well figured out. ;) My guy knows me better than any other guy on the planet, now that my Dad has passed on - my Dad was a close second.
5 - Tattoos. How many do you have and how many are visible when you wear your "everyday" clothes?
Not a one.
6 - What was the best year of your life and why?
I like to think that it is still to come. It just keeps getting better and better. That's my Pollyanna showing, isn't it? I've had lots of good ones, though. Some of my toughest have also been my best, because my family and friends have stepped up and made me feel like the most loved person on the earth. This is too difficult of a question. I pass.
7 - Name three things you would do if you were a man for one day.
For a DAY? Well, if it was for a day, I would:
1. Mulch all my flower beds (I'm too much of a wimp to haul all that right now.) I only say that because if I am a guy for a DAY, the next day, I will have all my flower beds mulched! Smart, huh? I'm a woman NOW - and I'm clever!
2. I would take a shower and shake my hair dry. And be done getting ready. That would be GREAT! I wouldn't worry if I looked good or anything - ALL DAY! I would throw on a shirt and jeans - and not worry how I looked - clean shirt, clean jeans - that's the only criteria. How cool would that be, not to be plagued by all those insecurities? That would be GREAT! I know I said as I get older, I care less...but, seriously, I still CARE.
3. Finish a big hamburger meal, extra fries and a malt. And probably a big dessert. And not gain a pound.
8 - What's your alcoholic drink of choice that usually raises a few eyebrows?
This one's easy - I don't drink, (I do admit to having an occasional glass of wine on special occasions...) and you would be AMAZED at how many eyebrows that fact alone raises. I'm not sure why being a non-drinker is such a social faux-pas, but apparently it can be. I'm not judging anyone for drinking - really, I'm not. But, I am a firm believer in the motto, "Let's love you for being you and me for being me - okay?" And, I don't drink. But, I promise you that I'm crazy fun without alcohol. Honest.
So, those are my answers! Great questions! I'd love to hear what you have to say - so, by all means - comment!!! Love those comments! Have a great day!

Hope your week brings sunshine!
Washington is promising rain... boo hoo!
I so forgot that if I were a man I would eat...how could I forget that!
I love your answer to # 4!
I hope that you are having a great Sunday!
Hey, Pennie!
LOVE your answer as to why you started blogging! Haha, you're hilarious! A friend of mine told me I say too much on my blog... I'm too "windy." Psh, whatever.
And have a BLAST meeting a couple of your blogger buddies, that's so awesome! I hope to meet some of mine in due time :)
Hope you're feeling well, you've been in my prayers as you struggle to find a definite answer. My aunt was misdiagnosed 3 years ago with MS... after digging and searching, they've finally found that she has fibromyalgia, among other things. I don't know what your symptoms are, but if you're in a lot of pain, have they tested you for fibro? I, too, have fibro, if you suspect you may have it, please don't hesitate to ask me any questions.
Hope you're having a great weekend, pretty mama!

Love your answers, you're so cute! Since I ma probably the closet bloggy friend you have you should really meet ME! :)
Pennie,
On my blog you said you were still learning your camera. Here are a couple good sites I have learned from. The first is Natalie Norton and on the left hand side she has tutorials. She also submits them to the Digital Photography School. That is the second link. You can sign up to receive e-mails from them. They have helped me a lot! I have gone to a few photography classes but most of my learning has been online.
