Time for our favorite Sunday blog hop, ladies! Go to Mannland5 and Keely will tell you how to hook up. She's cooked up some great questions this week. Here goes...

1. Are you superstitious?
Nah. I'm a Christian, so that goes against my doctrine. I'm pretty well protected by "The Big Guy"...I don't need to worry. ;)


2. If you were an animal..what kind would you be?

What a funny question! I know somebody who looks at people and sees them as animals. This person says, "Doesn't that person look like a turtle to you?" If we're at the mall together, this person will turn to me and say, "That lady over there reminds me of a woodchuck." It's hilarious. I won't embarrass them by naming them in my blog, but that's what this question reminds me of. I wonder what kind of animal this person thinks I am like. I don't really want to know, in case it's like a hippo or elephant or wildebeast (I don't even know what that looks like, but it sounds ugly...) or something.

Uh...I digress...

If I were an animal I would be my spoiled little Papillon. Yes, I would be Angel. She has it made. She sleeps alot, and I give her everything she wants. She gets carried around all the time, and groomed and I always tell her how pretty she is and how good she is. Yes, I would be Angel.



3. You would never catch me wearing.........?

Things too young for my age. I am 42. I get that. I am past the age of mini skirts and tube tops. I don't wear things that don't belong on women over 40. I still wear fashionable things, but there are women that are over 40 that should not be wearing certain things. Some women over 40 may be able to get away with it - those with the body of a 20-something. I do not have the body of a 20-something. So, I wear age-appropriate clothing. You can thank me later. If I wore things like bikinis and low ride jeans, there would be more than one young man who would be going to bed with nightmares tonight, I guarantee you. You might, too.


4. If someone posts a VLOG..do you watch it?

Oh, yeah! Especially if it's a bloggy friend! The first bloggy friend who got me hooked was Daisygirl. LOVE her vlogs! She's the cutest! I feel like I know her so well because of them. Who do I wish would do one? Helga of My World...don't you wonder what she sounds like? Actually, I wish you all would do one. I've watched a few of yours, Keely included - loved it, btw. It adds such a personal note. Do I want to do one and post it on my blog? Uh...I think I'm sick that day...

5. Have you ever waxed your girlie/manly parts..or any other part of your body?

I've done my legs - never girlie parts. That seems like that would be TORTURE. I blanch at the thought. Ow!


6. Are you a spender or a saver?

Saver. Bargain hunter, totally. I do love to save on a good deal!


7. If you were starring in a movie..who would you want to play your leading man/woman?

Who would I want to play my leading man? Who looks like Mike? I don't know...I plead the fifth on this one...

8. Smoker..never smoked..social smoker..or smoked back in the day?

Way back, before I got married, I did smoke. I quit for Mike - poor guy could not stand the smell. I tried quitting several times before that. A few years before I met Mike I had given my life to Christ and that began the process of wanting to quit. I guess it took true love for a guy to push me over that line, though. :) I couldn't stand the thought that something I did grossed Mike out. I prayed SO HARD to be able to quit...and I finally did!!! Whew! Whatever it takes, right?
