Just thoughts rolling around my brain as I clean house today...

I just discovered the music channels on my cable station. I always flipped past them. (Because who wants to listen to them when you're flipping channels, looking for something to WATCH, right?) I've been listening to one today while I clean. No commercials! This is great!

I should have company every Friday. So far I have a friend stopping by for coffee in the morning, another in the afternoon and a sister, niece and maybe my mom joining my family for dinner. This gives me a better reason to get my house clean - PRONTO! And I'm in a better mood to do it! In fact, I'm HAPPY to do it. (Which is not always the case every week, I'm embarrassed to say...)

I need a Mother's Day gift before dinner tomorrow. Flowers? Jewelry? What are you getting your mom? I have this cute little wall hanging, but I want something else...

Have you tried any of the Seventh Generation cleaners? I just did my bathroom with the Lemongrass and Thyme scented bathroom cleaner...kind of weird when your clean bathroom smells like you just cooked in there...

Does anyone else rearrange some piece of furniture every time they do a thorough weekly cleaning? It's fun!

If I spot scrubbed my kitchen floors with countertop spray, does that mean my floors are clean enough to eat off of?

Kids just don't clean bathrooms like Mamma. Even if Mamma thinks they're old enough to be able to handle the task. Nasty!

Little fluffy dogs rubbing against wooden sofa legs should be enough dusting for them, wouldn't you think?

How black can bananas be before they are too black for banana bread, even? Ewww...
