Got Spring?

I woke up this morning to...you guessed it...more snow. Sigh. I'm ready for Spring, how about you? I did notice, however, the other day it was staying lighter later in the day - a promise that Spring is on her way!

Today, I'm working on writing deadlines, courtesy of winter. I was originally supposed to be taking a road trip - an hour down the highway to my group in Eau Claire for a retreat meeting. Our big SAMmy's (Strength Among Moms) retreat is in Bloomington, MN. It's not just for those in the Midwest who attend a SAMmy's group - I know a few of you moms who are my bloggy buddies plan on attending (remember...$50 deposit due this Wed.) :) If you're interested in checking it out, click here. Anyhow, today at our meeting, we were going to be putting together more of our "extras" that the guests at the retreat receive...I'd love to tell you all about it, but that's all top secret. :) But, since the snow is much worse to the east of us, our meeting is cancelled due to the condition of the roads. Ah, winter...

I am sick of winter, but but it can be beautiful. Two days ago we had an overnight snowfall. This is the road out of our subdivision. I love how snow sticks to trees. Beautiful.

Oh, one last thing before I wake up my kiddos and get them off to the bus stop. Don't forget that tonight I will be picking the winner of the giveaway.
