I'm in awe at how many amazing women I have in my life. I mean, I'm pretty busy - just like I'm sure you all are! But, every day in the midst of my busyness I get to interact with some pretty amazing women. I've got face-to-face interaction with my daughter daily (she's a YOUNG woman, but amazing, all the same...) and I see my mom a few times a month - and she's at the top of the list! Every Wed. I have SAMmy's and see a bunch of amazing women friends and Thursday I have my amazing Thursday girls.
What has surprised me most, I think, has been the relationships I'm seeing here that I'm forming through my computer! My husband teases me about my "virtual friends" - it makes me sound like some lonely woman who talks to her house full of stray cats. (Just so you know - I am of sound mind, and I don't have ninety-nine cats or anything. Really. I don't even have one. Just a little dog, that kind of looks like a cat, but I digress...) It has been so fun getting to know you my blogger friends, because I didn't guess how easy making blogger friends would be. It's so fun to "pop in" and see what you're up to a few times a week; to take a break in the midst of my busyness and hear what you're up to. Sometimes, something in my life happens and I think "I'm blogging this." It makes me smile to think that somebody out there might care. If you lived next door, I would invite you over and we could chat about things over coffee and chocolate cake. With as much as we visit - almost daily for some of us - we would be so fat, and caffeinated, it would just be a perpetual state of mind, I think! I guess it's better this way...I would be a bad influence on you. We'd get absolutely nothing productive done.
So, thanks. And, leave a post and let me know how you're doing. I'd love to catch up - or get to know you! I've always room for more friends!

I think that is great you do that every thursday! Us girls need it! I also love all the woman I have been meeting! Learning about their lives and talking about everything and anything!
I have a forum I joined when I was pregnant with my son. He is 2 now and we all still talk! I have never met them in person but I consider them friends! So fun!
Aren't the friends God sends us just so completely amazing?! I am so eternally grateful for the friendships I have formed! Truly, though, you are a treasure and I feel completely blessed to have met you -- even if it is just virtually, for now! :)
Hoping your weekend is splendid!!
