T.G.I.F.

Thank Goodness It's Friday! You know why? Because it's only two more days until the Superbowl, that's why!!!! And the mighty Packers are in the Superbowl!!!! Whoot! Whoot!

Bridgette had to wear Packer gear to school today. Good thing I bought her a jersey for our Superbowl party on Sunday! The school just figures every child in Wisconsin has Packer clothing. (They probably do. Bridgette did, until she had the audacity to GROW out of it!) I really want an Aaron Rodgers jersey, but if I don't find one in the stores (they're running out of them...especially in my size...) I will just settle for my old, boring, packer tee-shirt (if I can find it...). :) Mike has a Packer sweatshirt he said he'd wear to the party. Guess when it's from? The last time the Packers were in the Superbowl! I think that was in 1997 or so! (Aaron was a toddler...) We know how to hang on to things and use them until they REALLY wear out! ha ha

Today is a day of hanging around home and getting things done. I have plenty of party prep to do; food to make, rooms to clean, table areas to set up, etc. I have to hang around the house because 1. the fireplace repairman is coming to fix the gas fireplace (yeah! I notice a BIG difference in the temp of this house when it's not working!) and 2. my MS meds get delivered today via Fed-X and I have to be here when they do (they are pre-filled syringes that get delivered in a styrofoam cooler and when they get dropped off, I have to unpack them and put them in the fridge. They can't freeze...and they just might out there in the weather we're having...and they are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE to let that happen!) So, it's a good day to clean and prepare for the party!!! Once the repairman gets here, and if my meds get delivered at a decent time, I may have to run to the store to pick up some groceries I forgot. And, maybe a DVD for tonight...seen any good ones lately?
