The object of this blog hop is to just rattle off a bunch of random things that pop into your head and then move on to the next thing. That cracks me up...isn't that how I usually blog? Oh! I guess that's my first random fact!
Today I had a board meeting in Eau Claire (about 60 miles away) at Cathy's house. After everyone left, Cathy took me out to lunch. That's the second lunch date I've had in a row this week with a friend. It's a good week!
Cathy also sent me home with a tupperware full of carrot cake. Dara left before Cathy could give her hers...so I got TWO tupperware containers full of carrot cake. Thanks, Dara...for being so quick to leave the meeting!
A friend of mine went to Dallas to go to the Superbowl, hoping to purchase a ticket at the gate. She's been to 8 past superbowls. She owns a company that coordinates special events and they often brought clients to these sporting events. Usually, once the superbowl started, ticket prices go down...because people just want to get rid of their tickets. This was the ONLY YEAR ticket prices went UP. She said it was nuts! 10 minutes after kickoff, ticket prices were $4500! Crazy! They went to the Packers Pub down the road and celebrated there while watching the game on the big screen.
It's -9 degrees outside. This morning, the windchill was -25.
By Sunday, it's supposed to be almost 40 degrees...I can't wait!!! Bring me the Coppertone
Tomorrow, our SAMmy's group is having a swap party. I've blogged about it before, but I can't wait to show you pictures...I hope I remember my camera! It's going to be fun!

I have two good friends who are in Mexico right now. Sigh. I have another friend who is leaving for Mexico next week on vacation. OH....I could go for a Mexican vacation...but, I don't see that happening....nope.
But, I DO get carrot cake, lunches out with friends and parties....right? ;) Let's not lose sight of the good stuff right in front of our face...

You know its cold when we think 40 is a heat wave! It was freeeeezing today. I just about got frostbite touching my steering wheel of my car!

Oh Pennie... I was complaining about 40 degree sunny weather today... ha ha... not really... I was really saying how wonderful it was... but rude... b/c it will go back to WET and cold and icky for a few more months... I hate these little teasers... making you long for spring/summer even more!! and I have friends going to Mexico and Hawaii left right and center... sheesh!! and the other funny thing is ... I have had this craving for Carrot Cake... only now it needs to be Gluten free carrot cake... =) I posted a one minute video of my funny man tonight... you Have to come see!! How random was that comment?!! he he!
$4500 for tickets to the superbowl!!! That is outrageous!! I would have went to a bar to watch the game too!

The weather here plain out sucks :( We have had a ton of snow and then yesterday it started to rain and the wind kicked up....it was so windy that I thought the roof would blow off the house! This morning it is super wet outside and really slippery :(
