Packing and Planning for the Weekend

I just got back from tracking down my daughter...grrrr...a little misunderstanding, but I thought she was abducted...
Again.
But she's fine - just decided to walk home after an after-school activity.
Of course, this wouldn't happen if she weren't the only child on the planet without a cell phone.
Won't she be surprised this Christmas?
*Shhhhh! Don't tell!*

I just heard back from Warner Brothers and those Flipped videos are shipping tomorrow, too...and I'll be drawing names for that giveaway next Friday, the 10th. So, if you want to get in on that, please do yourself a favor and leave a comment on this post. Those will make great gifts. I can't wait to get mine and watch it with my family. Looks like a great family flick.

Now, I'm going to eat and then get ready for tomorrow.
I'm heading to Eau Claire - an hour down the road.
I get to go see my friend Cathy speak at a women's conference.
A Christmas dinner gathering, no less - how fun is that?
And a bunch of my friends are coming, so we'll get to sit together and visit!
And, afterwards a bunch of us are going out for dessert.
Or, if we're stuffed, at least for drinks and to chat.
A lot of chatting goes on between us!
I can't wait!
And, I plan on spending the night at my Mom's - she lives in that town.
So, I can stay out late...
And my mom will spoil me.
Gotta love Mom!
And we'll probably wake up late and have a nice breakfast together.
Maybe even shop a bit on Saturday.
Doesn't that sound lovely?
You know the best part?
They're forecasting a huge snowstorm beginning tomorrow.
You probably are wondering why that's good news.
Well, I may have to leave EXTRA EARLY...you know, to avoid the weather... *wink* *wink*
And, if it snows too much while I'm there?
I may get snowed in...
But, of course it won't be too snowy to shop on Saturday...the mall isn't that far from my Mom's house!
Let's not get carried away and start talking ridiculous here!
Yep, I've got me some fun plans this weekend!

And then, when I get back on Saturday, Mike is taking Bridgette on their annual "date." So, I decided that Aaron and I would go on a "date." (Much to Aaron's delight...because Mom is FUN and always plans fun stuff!) I told Aaron that it wouldn't mean a fancy restaurant like Dad and Bridgette's date include (and both of us are more than fine with that!), but I think our date Saturday night will consist of pizza and a movie - Harry Potter, probably. That way, I won't have to play stupid video games - I HATE playing video games! I stink at them! Except for Wii bowling and tennis...but Aaron tells me that those are baby games. You know what I say to that? Waaaaa! Waaaa! (That's baby crying, if you didn't know...)

I hope you have fun weekend plans! What are your weekend plans, anyhow?
