365 Project 113-119

I am participating in the 2011 Mommytography 365 Project! For this year long project I will be taking a picture a day and posting them (7 images at a time so you don't get sick of me!), to get me out shooting, using my camera and learning new things with it daily. Anyone interested in photography can join, no need to be a Mommytographer (God knows I'm not!). We have teens to adults, male and female, as well as people from all over the world. Come join the fun!

This is my first attempt at the 365 Project. I'm jumping in where everyone else in the project is - at day 113.

Day 113: A splash of color from my kitchen on a dreary day.

Day 114: Jelly Beans for Easter!

Day 115: A splash of sunshine in an otherwise unstable Wisconsin Spring. Time for yard work?

Day 116: Did I say unstable Wisconsin Spring? Angel looks out our patio door as it alternates between snowing, raining and sleeting. Sigh.

Day 117: I went to SAMmy's (Strength Among Moms Ministry) and we had a delicious brunch instead of Bible study. Look at the great food!

Day 118: The snow earlier in the week didn't harm my rhododendron one bit.

Day 119:  Today was filled with fun with friends. (Mike and Aaron are gone...when the cat's away the mice will play?) This morning I had coffee with some SAMmy's friends at the bagel shop. This afternoon, Shelly treated me to lunch at my favorite restaurant. And this afternoon, Bonnie and Dennis brought over a rhubarb plant and planted it in my garden for me! (And then ordered me to take a nap...and I will, once I finish this!);)
Earlier this morning, Bonnie called and asked what I was doing today. I told her I was off to the bagel shop to meet my SAMmy's pals. She said she was stopping there too! That little stinker! She was only stopping there to deliver these to me:

Yes, today was full of surprises! And, great company! And sometime during all this fun Aaron texted me a pic of him with his first turkey (they are turkey hunting) and this text: "I got one!" I know Mike was really hoping he'd get one this year - it's his second year turkey hunting, and his first turkey. :)
Mike hasn't gotten his turkey yet...which is okay, because they aren't coming home until he does or Sunday - whichever comes first. And I've been playing all day, so I need some time to get the house in order...and maybe a little more time to play...
:)

Happy Friday!

Hi, Pennie! Thanks for stopping by my blog today. You have some fun pictures this week. I love the sun peeking through. Here in the Chicago area it's just as cold, and we're waiting impatiently for spring. Today was the first sunny day all week! I love the photo of your rhododendron. So pretty!

Blessings,
Christine
