1. Most Beautiful Post
Hmmm...that would have to be my August 8, 2010 post after we came back from Glacier and I posted these pictures from our trip:
Yep, that was one of my faves. I actually got both of those photos printed on canvas and one is in our family room and one is hanging on the wall in our living room right now. A BEAUTIFUL reminder of the tranquility of Glacier National Park!
2. Most Popular Post
This would be a tie between the two back-to-back posts from March last year. (They have to be read in order to make sense.) They are a part 1 and part 2 set. The first is "Hello Out There" from March 16th. The second is "Yeah...About Yesterday...". They are the two days when I started having symptoms of MS (but didn't know what was going on) and how you, my bloggy friends, were helping me through it with your comments. I still gets hits on those posts. Every month!
3. Most Controversial Post
I'm a ministry leader. I can't keep God out of the conversation. Of COURSE there's bound to be controversy in that! I don't apologize! But, whether you beleive in God or not, one thing that is not only controversial but also is something people cannot keep themselves from being interested in is stories about people dying and having experiences that prove that there is life after death. Wouldn't you know it my dad had such an experience when he died a little over a year and a half ago? Of COURSE I had to blog about it!!! That's exciting! (Oh - and controversial...) You can find it in this post from January 6, 2010.
4. Most Helpful Post
I think some of the most helpful posts are recipes. The latest recipe I posted was on June 14th of this year for Olive Garden's Lemon Cream Cake. Delish! I made it and it wasn't too sweet because it didn't have any frosting on it - just a VERY FLUFFY cream filling. Yummo! The recipe can be found here if you're interested. Otherwise just drool over the pics. It's far less calories and fat!
5. My Surprise Success Post
April 21, 2011 I blogged about my new obsession...couponing, and the new show I had found - Extreme Couponing. You all had quite a bit to say about it! Turns out, you love it as much as I do! (And you all think THEY are as crazy as I do! Don't worry...I don't have any intention of turning my kids' rooms into toilet paper storage rooms or crouton safe houses or anything...lol) It was a fun post and great to know that I was not the only one inspired to see how much I could save each week. (And I started a coupon binder...maybe I'll blog about it soon...) :)
6. A Post That Deserves More Attention
Honestly, I love to save money. And, I love being a stay-at-home mom. I also love that I get to be a woman's ministry leader and go out into the community and inspire moms to be better people and serve their families. (I love the women of the Twin City Metro!) My new love of couponing gives me a brand new obsession EVERY Sunday when I buy the Pioneer Press paper (actually I buy 4...for the coupon stash...).
I could do a post that gives my Twin City Metro readers the jump on what Sunday coupons, combined with local stores' sales give them the best deals. I've also toyed with making a whole new blog about that specifically called "Pennie's Dollars and Sense" and also have other money saving ideas - not exclusively for locals...just a rambling idea/thought...
As for existing posts that deserve more attention? I think the parties that my girlfriends and I throw periodically. They are FUN and totally economical - way cheaper than a dinner and a movie. Take, for instance our Julie and Julia party in January, 2010. That was a blast! We watched the DVD after we made soup (everyone brought 1 cup of a chopped veggie...I made the chicken soup stock for a base...and everyone also brought an item for the salad bar). It was SO FUN!
7. The Post I'm Most Proud Of
I am most proud of my photography posts, after joining Mommytography Project 365. The owner has since disbanded the group, but that was a big deal for me. We had to take a picture every day! I have a DSLR camera and I don't really know how to use it very well. In the process of using it, I learned quite a bit! And, Mike bought me Photoshop Lightroom 3 as a gift. (Gotta love that man!) So, my first Mommytography entry was this post. It wasn't the best one I posted, but it's the one I'm most proud of.
Well, that was fun! I'm supposed to tag 7 people to do this same task - to post their "7 Most...", but I'll just let you post your "7 most..." if you want to. :) That's what Jen did. I thought it would be fun...and it was! Have a great day!

You really are spectacular with your photography, and no wonder you framed those first shots from Glacier! Wow! Now to check out that recipe for that OG cake. YUM!
I love your picture posts. I still have that recipe down for my desserts to try....
I didn't find an active link for the lemon dessert. I have a lemon tree and I'm always looking for more lemon recipes.
I've got to go read the post about your Dad....right now.
love love the Glacier pic... we have a couple like that from last year... wish I could pic one or two to put on canvas... and then actually find the time to do it! ha!! ;)
