Okay, I usually don't do this...but I'm really impressed by all of this...and touched to the core.
I have this friend - Teri - who is in my SAMmy's group. She is just a fabulous woman! Anyhow, she had us praying for this woman - some relation - don't remember - who had a high-risk pregnancy.
Now, I don't know what your beliefs are...but, you know I'm a woman's ministry leader. This past year in my SAMmy's small group, we've seen some amazing answers to prayer. It's been wild! So, we got to praying for this woman.
This woman ended up delivering the baby WAY TOO EARLY...like at 20 weeks! Again...praying, praying, FIERCE praying.
The baby was born....ALIVE! Only 14 ounces! 14 OUNCES!!!!
Her name is Nora, and she's a fighter. She was born August 14th...so she's already 11 days old - and fighting every step of the way. Her lungs aren't fully developed, but she's working on it.
I'm amazed.
And praying.
Fiercely.
Won't you join me?

I'm a Christian too and believe that God answers every single prayer. I'm praying for her and her family.

Will put her on our prayer chain, soon 1000 people in South Africa will be praying for her, we serve an awesome God who promises when two or more come together in prayer he will answer our prayers.
On it!! =) My sister had a 3 lb baby... and you would NEVER ever know it now... oh dear... 14 oz... little Nora has a bigger fight!! Praying!!
