Mom Magic

Whenever I spend time away, I need time to catch up when I get back.
I was gone for the weekend with my friend Cathy at a Beth Moore Conference.
(We had SO MUCH FUN, btw...)
And, yesterday I had to catch up...
At first, I had to catch up on rest...
...so I finished a book. (More Than You Know by Beth Gutcheon...Very good!!!)
It was a lazy morning , I didn't get moving until after 10 and I didn't think I'd get much done, but I surprised myself.
I caught up on housework.
Not sure how that happened.
But, I caught up on laundry, dishes, vacuuming, sweeping...
...even organized two cupboards and cleaned the laundry room!
AND I ran some errands!!!!
How did that happen???
Magic.
Must be Mom Magic.
That's the only explanation.
I'm going to have to pull that off all week - because I'm out of town again Thursday and Friday this week.
A friend needs my help.
She's having a garage sale...so I'm helping her organize things Thursday, and run the garage sale on Friday.
She lives in my mom's hometown...so, no sense driving 65 miles back and forth two days in a row.
I'll just drive there Thursday and stay overnight at my mom's.
My mom will spoil me for a night.
Sounds good to me!!!
So, I have to pack a whole week's worth of housework into the next two days.
I better get hoppin'!
