Once upon a time there was a slow, slow tortoise. He was friends with a quick hare. The hare challenged the tortoise to a race.
What??? You've heard this one before?
Well, I feel like I'm living this story, in a way. Oh, not the race part. Or, the animal part, really. But, you know how the hare had this false sense of security and soon he ended up losing the race?
These past few weeks have been in the 70's and 80's.

My flowers are still blooming and I'm walkin' on sunshine, Baby! I'm loving it!
I was watching the news last night, and they showed a photo sent in from last year at this time.
We had 2 1/2 inches of snow.
I'm afraid that one of these mornings at 6am, while it's still dark, I'm going to slip on my jeans and sweatshirt and flip flops - still half asleep - to take Angel out for her morning walk...and step into a snow bank!
I know it's coming...
But until then - pass the sunscreen and meet me at the park!

It is really warm here too compared to normal! I think the whole world has been thrown off balance because I moved back to Iceland LOL. That's what I keep telling everyone :o)
Enjoy the sunshine and flowers.......flip flops!!! Enjoy being able to wear your flip flops for a few more days/weeks :)
I wonder if there is a normal in the weather any more, i still never wore a jersey in this winter we have just had, it was really never cold enough a long sleeve shirt and a jacket was more that enough.........

Can I be the one to admit that I wouldn't mind the snow? Or at least maybe a drastic dip in temperature. I absolutely LOVE me some winter in Minnesota!! :)
