1. If you could have one of Superman's, powers which one would you want? Superhuman strength..Flight..Superhuman speed..X-Ray vision..etc.

Flight. Definitely flight. That would be the most amazing thing to be able to fly above everything. Just think how quickly you could get everywhere! You'd NEVER be stuck in traffic again! And, you'd have a bird's eye view of everything! Want to see where your kids are? Just pop up in the air and you can find them playing in the nearby park...no matter where they are outside! Walla! And, I've always wanted to know what it felt like to fly. I've had those dreams...have you? Where you're flying? And then you wake up...and it's so disappointing...

2. The best thing I ever won is....?

I haven't won anything in a while, other than last year I won a blogging giveaway from my bloggy friend Helga at My World. She lives in Iceland and it was around Christmas time that the giveaway took place. I won a book about the Icelandic version of Santa...they have several "Yule Lads." A great kids' book about the folk tales.

I used to be on a real winning streak. I've won a few photography contests. Last year, my photo of our town was featured in a calendar. Same thing when we lived in Eau Claire - and that was a big prize package...I won $500 in film developing (this was before digital was big), a night's stay in the Honeymoon Suite at Ramada Inn , and my picture was displayed at the visitor's center for a year.

3. Have you ever skyped with a bloggy friend?

Nope. Never done that. I haven't even vlogged!

4. What is your favorite Summer month?

All of them! Seriously. I love them all, and couldn't choose one any more than I could choose one of my children over the other. Summer is my favorite season, by far. And, in Wisconsin it is just barely three months. Barely. If you use your imagination. Our summers are not super-hot, but they are beautiful and everyone here squeezes every little bit of fun out of them. The summer days are hoarded and relished like cheese and butter were during the depression. It's just the best time ever. I'm always excited to see it come, and sad to see it go. My favorite month? JuneJulyAugust.

5. Pool, Lake, or Ocean?

Lake. Mike and I have a dream to get a cabin on an inland lake. In Northern Wisconsin. We have our sights set on a little town up north where we go to fish. It will probably be a miracle if we ever really do purchase a place on a lake there, given the economy and all - but it would be nice. We have our boat and maybe would eventually retire there? We like to fish and he likes to hunt and we really do like simple, small town living...which isn't for everyone - well, not for very many at all, really. And to have a little place on a lake with a water trampoline and a dock for the boat and a boat house...it could all be pretty nice - with a patio in the front for entertaining. That could all be very condusive to our lifestyle of friends and family. Near a quaint town for shopping.

6. One of my favorite Summer memories is.....?

Our family loves to camp. We have so many fond memories of camping together. One time, we camped with some friends - three other families - from our subdivision in Eau Claire. Rim Rock Hills. We called them our Rim Rockers. We were super-close. There were 10 kids in all - and all the kids went to school together and got along...and all the husbands were friends...and all the moms were best friends. What are the odds of that??? Anyhow, we went to a campground 3 hours away and had THE BEST 4 day weekend together! My one girlfriend was going through her son's photos for his graduation party, and she came upon some pictures from that trip. She had to call to reminisce with me. Good times.

7. What's your favorite secret bargain?

When I get a Target coupon and couple it with a manufacturer's coupon AND when there's a Target special for that item "buy X amount and get a $5 Target gift card." That makes my day to save that kind of money!

8. Do you plan on or have you been watching the World Cup?
The World Cup is the farthest thing from being on my radar.

Well, if the World Cup IS your cup of tea (your WORLD CUP of tea, that is), I hope you have fun watching it. If not, have fun doing whatever you plan on doing today. Me? I'm getting my meal in the crock pot, then planning my meal for tomorrow. Beyond that, I'm not sure - a little laundry, read the paper, relax (Mike's out fishing with a friend so I can do whatever I want!). Enjoy your day!
