Today I'm cramming in a bunch of housework (can't you tell???) before I have to pick up Aaron early from school so he can take off with his daddy...it's the big testosterone holiday of the Midwest for those of you who don't live out this way...
Opening Weekend for Deerhunting.

So, while the boys are off playing, the girls are going to my mom's for a girlie weekend with the dog. Actually, my MIL is coming up to my BIL's and SIL's (who live about an hour from my mom's) so my FIL can join my hubby and his brothers while they hunt with their sons. So, Bridge and I are meeting my MIL and SIL and niece on Saturday for a shopping day and to see a production of "Annie" in town where my mom lives. Then, we can spend the rest of the weekend with my mom. Actually, my brother is coming up to my mom's tonight with his buddy to hunt - so we'll go out to eat with him for dinner. I haven't seen him in months, so it will be good to catch up! (What did I tell you? This is a BIG HOLIDAY in these parts!)
I hope to get some of my Christmas shopping done. What I don't get done Saturday, I hope to get done the FOLLOWING Saturday in Milwaukee when I go down for Thanksgiving.
The thing is...my back went out. Would you mind praying for me if you get a chance? I'd appreciate it. I'm going to muscle through. But appreciate any prayers I can get! Thanks!

Oh wow! You definitely have my prayers for your back. I've been there. Just bending over for laundry and SNAP! laid me out flat. I couldn't move for a long time! and then was extremely sore for over a week.
Oh no! I will say a prayer for you and your back, hope it feels much better soon! Have a wonderful girls weekend. Matt has been hunting the last 2 weekends and is going again this weekend, I can't wait for hunting to be over!!

I have a hunting husband too......every year with his father & brothers.
MN hunting is earlier and my husband got a buck.
My mom came to stay with us and we shopped at Mall of America! FUN!
