I can't believe I'm here,
facing my fears
like a soldier.
Or am I tempting fate
like a fool?
Because I know I am not afraid of my own shadow...
But somewhere in those trees
there are things to be afraid of.
The devil comes as an angel of light, you know.
He does.
I've seen it happen.
I know what he sounds like.
I know what he sounds like.
I know the truck he drives.
I know his walk.
But I dare to come and take these photos.
These photos that look so innocent and quaint.
It all looks different than it used to...twenty years ago.
It's a bit more broken, neglected and falling down.
They are old haunts.
But they haunt, just the same.

And they look so awesome in black and white! classic.
You were very brave.
Wow, I'm not sure I could have done it, but I'm really glad you were able to face those fears. Your photos are absolutely phenomenal.
PS. On the orange puree, let me ask the rep who gave me the recipe for some clarification on that and I'll let you know. :)
But don't you feel more powerful now? Not sure what the circumstances were twenty years ago, but any time we can face our fears and be strong, we can overcome.
Oh, and I forgot...the shots were excellent. I could feel the emotion in the black and white.
