Sunday we had a BLAST at the SAMmy's, Inc. Funtastic Family Event at Harvestime Church in Eau Claire, Wisconsin! The Splatter Sisters (A Children's Musical Group) travelled in from the Cities and performed, there were carnival games with prizes galore, yummy food and a great silent auction. We had sunny weather - thanks to God for that, and I think anyone who attended can tell you that a great time was had by all! A special thanks to Dara Piltz, the Event Coordinator and everyone who helped out. It was a smashing success - I've been hearing good things from lots of people - we even had people from the neighborhood come to check out the party! Enjoy these photos - if you missed the fun, then you may consider attending if we choose to do this again. It was a great way to wrap up the summer...SAMmy's style!
Everyone was clamouring for tickets, so their children could participate in the many games and go on the inflatables. We also had a variety of treats... cotton candy, hot dogs, cookies and milk, water, popcorn - it was all there!

Bridgette asks a boy to dance ( the only age boy she is allowed to ask to dance!).
All the chidren loved the games!

Heather and Michelle are put to work shucking corn - aw, shucks! (Sally's working hard in the background, too!)

Looks like it was a great time, sorry we couldn't make it! Gunnar napped until 5pm and after a week with a no-napping kid, mama got some anatomy/phys studying in and snoozed a bit herself that afternoon. :)
We missed you, but you wouldn't have had much fun with a tired Gunnar! :)
It was such a great day!!
