Higher Education

There's nothing like a trip down memory lane

Remembering where I've been

Memories, absent of sugar-coating and pollyanna retelling

To make me grateful

For where I have landed,

Who I have been allowed to walk this journey with,

And who I am now

At this moment.

And I can only imagine

Who He has for me to be become,

And where He plans to lead me

Over mountains, through valleys.

As long as He goes with me

I walk on in eager anticipation.

Higher education awaits me.
