I'm melting! I used to LOVE hot weather! I thrived on it. And, I don't really live in a hot weather state. We rarely see anything above 90. Ever. But, since I got M.S. last year, hot weather and I don't really get along anymore. That's when M.S. symptoms act up - in the heat. It's SO ANNOYING! Two weekends ago, my legs gave out twice one day. At first, I thought I fainted twice, but I think my legs just gave out and I hit my head and blacked out the more I think about it. Either way...I don't care for hot weather anymore. Even working out is a problem. If my body heats up from working out, my limbs go numb. Try being on a treadmill and having no sensation in your legs. It's not a pretty sight! (Or a safe one...) Yoga's a good exercise choice for me.
Anyhow, back to the weather...It has been really hot here...the hottest in the country. 103 yesterday...too hot for me. I mean this is the land of the frozen tundra - not Arizona, for Pete's sake! Luckily, the saying goes - "If you don't like the weather in Wisconsin (or Minnesota, for that matter...since Minnesota is only over the river...) - just wait a few hours." Like I said - it was 102 on Monday, 103 yesterday...but by Friday it's supposed to be in the 60's...isn't that the CRAZIEST????? I'm not complaining! Oh, no - I'm grateful for the reprieve!
Well, at least the hot weather has given me a great excuse to eat ice cream! (I'm always looking for a good excuse to do that!) ;) And, you can rest assured that I have made the most of that excuse the past few days. Ahhhhh....Edy's Espresso Chip...here I come! (It's not just for breakfast anymore, you know!)

I didn't know that about the heat and MS! No wonder my friend that has that is so wary of when the air conditioning is acting up at her house.
Funning you mentioned "I'm melting!"! That is her absolute favorite movie of all time...
I know, wasn't yesterday crazy! I couldn't even let the boys go outside and play. I hope for your sake especially that it cools off soon. Today seems to be a bit better so far.
Is has been SO hot! I'm not the biggest fan of 100 degree weather but my kids are loving the fact that they have been living in the pool the past few days! :)
I hope you are doing better now that it has cooled down!
Oh wow, that is blazing hot. I'm so glad you're getting a nice cool drop in temps for a bit this weekend. Yikes.
Wowza that is hot! We never get that hot here. But....we have the same saying, if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes!
