Last weekend was a pure delight, weather-wise! It was very COOL...in the 50's on Saturday, and 60's Sunday...but, it didn't rain! And, that made it PERFECT for fishing - and there are only a few more weekends left in June - prime bluegill and sunfish fishing...our family's favorite!
We fished both Saturday and Sunday. Aaron isn't really a fishing fanatic like the rest of us, so Saturday he came along "for moral support" (he tells us). He brought along a book and his ipod, but spent most of the time making up silly trivia and quizzing Bridgette. Those two get along quite well (praise God!), but when they get together sometimes it's pure silliness and giggling and nonsense. So, Saturday's fishing trip was quite a bit noisier than Sunday's, when Aaron decided not to come along. (Good move on his part...he was REALLY bored the second half on Saturday and ended up taking a nap out of boredom - poor kid!)
Well...here are my pics for the week.
Day 155: Lots of fishing this week! Here's Bridgette with a big sunny! Smile, Bridge! (She's wearing my dad's lucky fishing hat...must have worked!)
Day 156: The flowers finally bloomed around my bird bath out front.
Day 157: My back yard provides lots of photo opps! Here two bluebirds flit around their bird house.
Day 158: I adore my little Angel, and she adores coming with her Mamma on car rides.
Day 159: We live near the river, so there are plenty of eagles around. These love birds are often found perched together. I've seen their youngster flying around, too.
Day 160: This is one of the most relaxing sights in the world. I can almost feel the sun beating down on my head, and the breeze blowing across my face. *Yawn* Time for a nap!
Day 161: These are Bee's pretty little feet basking in the sun. This is the good life, folks!
I will be out of town this Sunday morning until next Wednesday, so I'll be late in posting next week's pics...but I'll be sure to post them! I have quite a heavy vacation schedule in July, too...the first two thirds of July I'll be vacationing, and away from all technology (except my camera!), so I won't be able to blog - but I hope to have some amazing photos to post when I return!!!
Have a great Monday, all! Time to get going on something productive...
