Mid-Week Bullets

  • 'Twas double-coupon day today...which is a good thing, because I had a LOT of grocery shopping to do!
  • I start my second prescription tonight to (hopefully) treat the naughty nerves that are misbehaving in my body right now, due to my M.S. (I get the pain of shingles, without having the rash! Bonus!). Let's hope this drug works!
  • I am packing, packing, packing for two back-to-back vacations the Bixler family is going on.
  • My house is in a new level of disarray, but my laundry is done and the grocery shopping is done! (That's my attempt at looking on the bright side...)
  • When I walked into the kitchen the other day, Mike greeted me with a cup of coffee and a smile. He informed me that Bridgette was writing down every word she spoke that day. Why? She reasoned that she wanted to know the most common word(s) she used. I'll bet you're wondering what they are, aren't you? Nobody knows...she tired of writing shortly after breakfast. She explained that she couldn't write as fast as she talked...and she realized that she talked A LOT.  We already KNEW that!
  • I just finished a GREAT book...have you read "Heaven Is Real" yet? You need to! It's a true book and it's been #1 on the New York Times Best Seller's List. Everyone's talking about it! Crazy good! I'm having my kids read it...
  • I'm not really into American Idol and those kind of shows. I used to be...but not the past few seasons...I just caught the last two shows of America's Got Talent. They've been really fun!
  • I wish somebody would make dinner for me. I have no idea what we are having and my hubby will be home in a half hour. I'm in trouble. (I had a rough night...a rough week...so I think I am going to beg for a night out.)

Sorry your MS is acting up. I will say a prayer that the meds work.

I've read, "Heaven is for Real". It was an incredible book, simply amazing!

Ha! That's cute she tried to write down everything she said...the things kids come up with! :-)
