Braggin' Up Aaron

Everyone seems to have a few regrets in life. I know I have a couple. One thing I do not regret is the time I've spent with my children. I have great kids.

Do you know what my thirteen year old son did today? After school, Aaron (13) and Bridgette (12) had to ride along with me to do a few things, otherwise Aaron wouldn't make it to karate class in time - I had to drop him off after I had done several hours' worth of miscellaneous errands. They were pretty good sports. In fact, Aaron asked if we could stop at a gas station to get a "Biggie Drink". I thought that was a pretty small thing to ask, since they were roped into about three hours' worth of mailing and shopping and dropping things off.

Do you know what my son did? He insisted on buying his mom AND his little sister a drink - his treat to us. Isn't that sweet????? And then Bridgette made a comment about how one of Aaron's gifts is his generous spirit.

Of course, she's right...

I love being my kids' mom.
