Every year, about this time, SAMmy's Directors are gathering their leadership teams together and informing them about the SALT (SAMmy's Leadership Team) session that takes place in early August.
Did you ever toy with the idea of being a SAMmy's leader? There's no better way to show your Director that you are interested in serving on her team than asking her if you can attend the SALT training class in Menomonie, WI on August 7th. It is open to all SAMmy's leaders, and those interested in SAMmy's leadership! However, attendance does not guarantee a spot on the leadership team in the future - (Note that most Directors have already formed their teams for this year and are encouraged to choose leaders based on those God lays on her heart, not on her own preferences...but the skills you learn in the SALT sessions can be applied to many leadership situations...including motherhood! :)
So, if you are interested in leadership - whether it be as a future SAMmy's leader, or maybe even starting a SAMmy's group in a community that does not yet have a SAMmy's group, then please contact your SAMmy's Director or RSVP directly to SAMmy's Director of Leadership Development, Nita Bukwoski at nita.bukowski@gmail.com before August 2nd to reserve your spot .
The next SALT session is Friday, August 7th from 10am - 2pm at the Comfort Inn of Menomonie, WI (Exit 45 off Hwy. 94). The cost is $10, which covers lunch and materials. Payment should be made upon arrival on the 7th.
