I had a speaking engagement this morning. I used a study from the SAMmy's "Treasure Hunt" Study Series - "Private Treasures". It was about how to hear God speaking to your spirit.
My audience was mature Christian women, and they were so inspiring, so encouraging! Here, I came to bless them and I walked away being SO BLESSED - it was very uplifting. I was reminded of Proverbs 11:25 that says, "A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed." These women prayed for me, and prayed for SAMmy's and some of the things SAMmy's is possibly facing right now - good possibilities - growth possibilities. They were so sweet and ecouraging. I felt God's favor, and I came away from it all so...REFRESHED.
And, I came away feeling like I need to plead with anyone who is reading this - if you have benefitted at all from SAMmy's, please do not forget me personally or this ministry in your prayers. Please be faithful in praying. I think it's so easy to go about life and forget the spiritual side of the work. It's so easy to say, "Yes, I'll pray." and then never get alone with God and really do the work of praying. I covet your prayers and this ministry thrives on your prayers.
This ministry is at a precipice. We have an opportunity to really grow, but the ball is in somebody else's court right now, somebody who is looking over the Treasure Hunt studies. Please pray for favor and for God to do wildly wonderful things for SAMmy's to spread all over the state and possibly nationally. Pray with fervor. Pray with faith.
