Well, well, well...so you think you have a messy house???
I've heard it all.
"I'm tearing down the Christmas decorations."
"My kids have their new toys all over the place."
"We have too much stuff!"
Really???
YOU have a mess?
You think you have more of a mess than ME??
Let me make you feel better about yourself.
Over Christmas weekend Mike tiled our entryway, laundry room and main bath...and painted our laundry room.
And over New Years weekend he laid wood floor in the kitchen and front hall.
He works a ton of hours at the office, normally.
And while on "vacation," he was a machine, that man! You should see all he got done! (I'll post pics once the doors are back on the closets, the molding and door frames are put around the doors and room perimeters and things are straightened up.)
But...for now...ummmm...
My kitchen looks nice (other than the missing parts)...
But my living room???
Uh...
Several things from closets are set in there...and door frames are propped against the patio doors.
Extra wood is piled up.
But the real kicker...besides the jigsaw and extension cords coiled all over the living room floor...
...is the circular saw in the middle of the room...and the pile of sawdust under it. On top of the carpeting. Yes. The carpeting.
And I probably would be complaining A WHOLE LOT (more than I am right now, I mean...)
If I weren't getting new stuff in Spring.
Love that man.

It's going to be so great!
We recently went through and did hard wood in 3 bedrooms. Holy Cow... I totally understand what you are going through! But in the end... it will all be worth it in the end.
Oh my! It sounds like what we went thru when sanding our wood floors. All the hutch dishes stacked in the livingroom gathering sawdust and it got into EVERYWHERE! yuck.
I feel for you woman! And spring will be awesome!
