...I was wrong, of course...I got it cut...from hair that went down to the middle of my back to hair as long as my jaw line...and he never said a word. Not. A. Word. After a few hours, I asked him why he hadn't commented. He said, "I told you I didn't like short hair. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."
Oh, yeah.
But, Mike has been gone the last week to North Dakota duck hunting. He was home last week...but the week before that he was in Canada fishing. And a couple of days ago, I was just having a bugger of a day...a real bugger. It was really my fault. I had this Monday where I scheduled WAY TOO MUCH. Two doctor's appointments, tests at the hospital (and then they mislabeled one, so they called me BACK to the hospital while I was running errands to retake one...thank you very much...I had nothing to do all day, anyhow...), and a dentist appointment, among a meeting at church and errands. It was crazy-busy...nuts!
So, when my friend Shelly heard me whining about it on Facebook she came to my rescue and offered to cut and color my hair the next day. (She always is quick to cheer me up...I love her!)
The cut and touch-up on color turned out so cute that when Mike came back, HE even liked it. (Actually, he didn't notice for 2 hours that she cut off about 5 inches...but, when Bridgette complimented me, he actually looked and said that he DID like it!)
So, not only is Shelly one of my best friends - she is a miracle worker. :) Here's my new 'do:

I LOVE the new 'do Pennie! It really suits you :) I don't know what is with men and long hair. My hubby is the same way...so for now, I'm keeping it long. He wishes I was blond too, but he'll get over it ;)

Your hair looks great!! My husband doesn't like my hair shorter either and the last time I got it cut he didn't notice right away...then when I told him after a few hours he said "I thought you looked different." :)
