I just got a wonderful Christmas gift from my dear friend, Robbin. It is the most ADORABLE glass plate...and I just made some yummy cookies to put on it! Now, I understand that some elegant, hand blown glass plates may require some special care when it comes to cleaning them. I realize it's probably not microwave safe. (I don't think I'll be microwaving my Christmas cookies this year, anyhow...) And, I can handle handwashing a dish now and then. (Actually, that's Bridgette's job...so, I can handle having Bridgette hand wash a dish now and then. :) )
The thing is, when I was throwing the box from the plate away, a piece of paper fell out with the care instructions for the plate. Now I know we have become a lazy society. (Says the woman who just confessed that she doesn't wash her own dishes - her 15 year old daughter does...). Apparently, we need instructions on how to hand wash. There's even a supply list!:
I hope you feel prepared, should you ever get put in this precarious situation. I hope you never do!

That is hilarious!
OH my gosh, really? Wow, we're worse off than I thought!
WHOA!!! That's worse than a warning label on a cup of coffee that it might be hot...
But you know what?! There are people (who live in my house) that don't have the foggiest notion of how that works! I'm going to print that off and tape it above the sink!
LOL!
That is funny!
